There are so many promises that God gives to us in so many different ways. Sometimes we find it so hard to Believe that our prayers can get answered. I have always believed that its important to pray God's Word over your circumstances. Isaiah 55:11 says that God's Word will not return void. Praying God's Word is praying God's Will in your life. His Word is Him speaking to us. God is our refuge [a place of shelter, protection, a place of relief, a place of safety.] God is our fortress [ our security, our armor, our sheild, safeguard, our weapon] and we are to put all our trust in Him. The only way to really trust Him is to spend more time with him, fellowshiping with him like we do our best friend, praising Him for all He's done, and doing in our life.
Its so easy to get disconnected because all our cares crowd out our quality time and fellowship with Jesus, yet He waits and always is there for you. When we stay close to Jesus our problems seem so small and we then can experience His Peace, because we are "trusting" Him.
Just because we allow ourselves to get distant from God, doesn't mean that when we draw close to Him, we have to start all over again. No, we don't start all over again, He just picks up where we left off no matter where we are in our walk with Him. He is Faithful even when we are not.
John 14:27 says, "My Peace I leave with you, My peace i give unto you! Let Not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Philippians 4:19 says, "My God shall supply ALL my needs according to "His" Riches and Glory
By choosing to spend more quality time with Jesus, we are choosing to be Blessed "more" of the time!!
