Where was God mentioned in this talk?
Yes, we should be kind, but kindness in itself is not enough. Good works should be the outpouring of thankfulness for the Grace God has shown us for forgiving our sins. Good works will not save us, nor will speeches about kindness. It seems more and more this website, supposedly centered on God, is more centered in a works based philosophy, rather than the Gospel.
We live in a fallen world and face evil and depravity every day. No matter how many causes the secular humanists strive to make right by creating a victim class out of every group imaginable, there will still be human suffering and loneliness.
One day we will all stand before Jesus and give an account of our lives. And sadly, all who thought their good works would punch their ticket to Heaven, will hear the words; depart from me, for I never knew you.
I hope this little girl is saved and she never hears those words. I hope the same for you. But let there be no mistake about it, if you are believing that little speeches like this are going to open the gates to Heaven, I just pray that you make sure you are right. Please study the Gospel and take it as literally as is humanly possible. It is God’s instructions to us as the only way to salvation, no grey areas, but absolute truth. Do not let our culture influence you or say it is OK to contradict those instructions. They are wrong and their lies will cost you everything.
