I’m not sure what you were doing when you were only 3 years old but I have no memory of that age and I’m certain I didn’t have the mature wherewithal to donate my “Rapunzel” long hair at that young age.
This little girl, Emily James, decided not only to cut her cherished long hair but to cut it for a very special reason. After talking with her parents, she decided to donate her hair to help young children who don’t have any … due to cancer.
So, she and her favorite doll Rapunzel both had their long hair “cut” – not trimmed – and then Emily mailed it off to an organization that will use her hair to help make wigs for patients who have lost their hair. She is certainly an inspiring little girl!
