So many us can’t wait for Spring (just too much snow this winter season) but one man, Simon Beck, is a french artist whose medium is …. Snow!
Most people, if asked to draw a perfect circle or a straight line on paper probably couldn’t. Simon Beck, however, can and he does so in a very unconventional way. Using snow-shoes as his paintbrush, Simon creates beautiful geometrical designs by walking across snow covered fields the size of “3″ (!!) football fields! Simon walks for 8-10 hours to do his artwork and the result is breathtaking!
His work is so extraordinary that it’s hard to even contemplate how he is able to work in such extreme weather (It’s freezing out there where he works) let alone how he is able keep track of each footstep. There is one bible verse that puts it all into perspective:
He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers. Exodus 35:35
