James Travis “Jim” Reeves (August 20, 1923 – July 31, 1964) was an American country and popular music singer-songwriter. With records charting from the 1950s to the 1980s, he became well known as a practitioner of the Nashville sound (a mixture of older country-style music with elements of popular music).
There are some of his greatest gospel songs of all times .
Blessings,

Jim Reeves .left a legacy. Always a pleasure to listen to.
I am 56 yro & grew up in the country of mid Indiana. Though my parents didn’t go to church, my paternal grandma took me every Sunday until she died. (I was about 13 yro. then.) I remember my mom played a lot of Jim Reeves & Elvis Presley country & gospel records but especially on Sunday mornings. I’d awake to hearing this music while she was cooking breakfast for us. I never realized until this moment, my dads voice sounded an eery lot like Jim Reeves voice. What a blessing this set has been to me! Thank you! Blessings wished to all!

Have Thine Own Way Lord has changed my life and have often cried as I listened to Jim sing this song.
Jim Revees came into the world to make a difference and win souls for his maker. He did quite that and his legacy will never die even though,he is dead. A great man with a great heart for God. Must be singing with them now in heaven. RIP
