When Pharrell Williams was hired to compose the soundtrack for the movie Despicable Me, it took him 9 tries to get it right before the studio accepted it! He stated in an interview with Oprah that not much happened with that song when the movie came out, but a few months later when he released a video of the song, suddenly,… “it was no longer my song”… People around the WORLD began to make their own videos of them getting “HaPpY”.
This latest version of Pharrell’s contagious song, I think, just might be the happiest yet! The kids attending a Deaf Film Camp in upstate New York created their own version and it’s spectacular! Enjoy *
