The people at IKEA decided to try an experiment that would teach kids about bullying. They took two plants from one of their stores and placed them in a school with simple instruction that allowed the kids to play a part in the experiment. After 30 days the results were astounding!
It’s easy to imagine the effects that constant verbal abuse must have on a person (let alone a plant). It’s stressful, it can cause anxiety and even depression. It’s amazing how much damage can be done.
Thankfully, the effects of positive feedback is just as amazing. We all need a little extra encouragement and support during these COVID19 days. Let’s all plant some good seeds and talk nice to “everyone” and most importantly “ourselves”!
